Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services ("Services") provided by LexPrep (via website, mobile app, etc.), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("TOS"). If you do not agree with any part of these TOS, you must not use the Services.
2. Services Description
LexPrep provides an AI-powered platform for LSAT preparation and law school admissions guidance, including practice exams, drills, essay samples, an AI study assistant, admission-essay support, and related tools.
3. Eligibility
You may use the Services only if you are at least the minimum age required by law in your jurisdiction (typically 13 or older, or the age of majority) and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Services on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
4. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or credentials.
5. Subscription, Fees & Payment
- Some features of the Services may require payment via subscription or other fee structure.
- You agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes in a timely manner.
- Unless otherwise specified, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each term unless you cancel in accordance with the cancellation policy.
- You are responsible for maintaining valid payment information.
6. License & Intellectual Property
- LexPrep grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use (unless expressly otherwise permitted).
- All rights, title and interest in and to the Services (including software, content, trademarks) remain with LexPrep and its licensors.
- You retain ownership of any content you upload ("User Content"), but by uploading you grant LexPrep a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, distribute, and display such User Content as necessary to provide the Services.
7. User Content, Prohibited Uses & Conduct
7.1 User Content
- You are solely responsible for all User Content you upload, submit or generate through the Services.
- You represent and warrant that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights (e.g., copyright, privacy, publicity) or any law.
7.2 Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the Services in a manner that violates any applicable law or regulation.
- Upload or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing, violent, or promotes illegal activity.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, or systems.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble the Services (except to the extent permitted by law).
- Use the Services for any commercial resale or redistribution unless expressly authorized.
- Circumvent or disable any security features of the Services.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
- The Services are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.
- LexPrep makes no warranty that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or meet your requirements.
- The AI-powered tools may generate incorrect or unreliable results; you should not rely solely on them without independent verification.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- LexPrep and its licensors/affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data or business opportunity) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services.
- In any event, LexPrep's total aggregate liability will be limited to the amount you paid (if any) to LexPrep in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (or a capped amount if you paid nothing).
10. Termination
- You may cancel your account or subscription at any time via your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation becomes effective at the end of your current billing term (for paid subscriptions).
- LexPrep may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice, if you breach these TOS or for any other reason at our discretion.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends, and LexPrep may delete or deactivate your account and content in accordance with its policies.
11. Changes to the Terms
LexPrep may modify these TOS from time to time. We will provide notice (e.g., via email or via the Services). Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the modified TOS signifies your acceptance of those changes. If you don't agree to the new terms, you must stop using the Services.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These TOS and your use of the Services will be governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under or related to these TOS shall be resolved in the courts of California, or via arbitration if you and LexPrep agree to it (as applicable).
13. Entire Agreement
These TOS constitute the entire agreement between you and LexPrep regarding the Services, superseding any prior agreements or understandings (oral or written). If any part of these TOS is found unenforceable, that part may be severed and the remainder of the TOS will remain in full force.
14. SMS Text Messaging Program
LexPrep offers an optional text messaging program (the "LexPrep SMS Program"). By opting in, you agree to the following terms:
- Program Description: When you provide your mobile phone number and opt in, LexPrep will send recurring automated text messages, including account notifications, study reminders, and product updates.
- Consent: Your participation is voluntary, and consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You represent that the mobile number you provide is your own or that you are authorized to enroll it.
- Message Frequency: Message frequency varies. You will receive approximately 1–2 messages per week.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Such charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider. LexPrep is not responsible for any carrier charges.
- Opt-Out Instructions: You can cancel the SMS Program at any time by texting STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you a confirmation message and then stop sending you text messages. You may receive additional messages confirming your opt-out.

- Supported Carriers & Availability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.
